My name is Jeremy Ewing, and I am pursuing the path of becoming a missionary that God has paved just for me and my family. Sure there are many other missionaries out there doing the same thing that I am called to do. However, God deals with each heart separately and has a special path for each of us. We are all commissioned to follow like the disciples and forsake everything for the sake of following Jesus Christ. In doing so, will leave our families, give up all our possessions, and follow the path the Lord has set before us. I have been dealing with this calling for some time now but, I know that the Lord had to deal with the wife on this thing as well. The Lord will not prick the heart of one spouse without also pricking the heart of the other. I felt the calling to become a missionary a few months before the wife give in and started talking about it. I don’t always share what I feel the next step to Gods plan is, I stand still and pray, and the wife will come by to confirm it when she gives in to the reality of it. It might not be the best way to confirm Gods plans, but it has worked for me in multiple situations.
