My father inspired me to start My Father's Work Non-Profit. In fact, it is dedicated to him. As far back as I can remember, my father has freely given of his time, talent and expertise to help abused children and their families.
My father is an attorney who represents abused children and indigent families in the court system. My father works tirelessly helping children and families rebuild their lives. As a young child, I often went with my father as he visited children clients and their families in the inner city. Sometimes, we transported children and their families to doctor's appointments and counseling sessions. My father worked tirelessly to help his clients get the help they needed to be successful.
Over the years, I have seen the good that my father has been able to accomplish in many peoples lives. I believe in him and what he does. That's why I have started this non-profit.
